Meet our founder...
Hello! I'm Immi, the founder of The Toadstool Post.
I've always believed childhood should be felt with your hands, not swiped on a screen, from making and drawing to the quiet magic of finding something in the post with your name on it.
I have a Master's in the psychology of education, so I spend a lot of time thinking about how children actually learn, through play, stories and doing things themselves. Every letter, activity and tiny detail is designed with that in mind. Magical, but meaningful too.
The Toadstool Post is the thing I wish had landed on my own doormat as a little one. I hope it brings your children as much joy to open as it brings us to make.

Oakwell & Ink is a British children's creative company building analog experiences for the next generation.
It was founded by Imogen Arundel after completing her Masters in the Psychology of Education.
With a passion for artistic expression and a love for children's development, our snail mail "The Toadstool Post". was born.
We are a small team of 3 in the heart of the Dorset countryside.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make The Toadstool Post the number one snail mail subscription service for Children across the UK in order to spread the message of screen-free alternatives to iPads, TV and bring the whimsical magic back to childhood.
Oakwell & Ink began at a kitchen table with a question. What if children had something to look forward to that wasn't on a screen? Everything we make since has been an answer to that.
